Ode To Alejandro

I originally painted this piece in 2013 when an artist, Alejandro Santiago Ramirez died while we were visiting Mexico. He was from Oaxaca, Mexico. I learned of his work a few years before that, and it has been very inspiring for me for all these years. I decided to improve on this piece while sorting out my old pieces in the studio and found it. The whole process reconnected me to his work.
